Item Description

A classic near "floater" aggregate of Azurite from this now defunct locality. It is comprised of hundreds of small, deep blue, thin, wedge shaped crystals forming a "flower" or "rosette" like specimen. Upon close inspection, the crystals have formed what looks like either skeletal or "hoppered" crystals, or they may have formed casts after a preexisting species. It's unlike anything I've seen from La Sal before. I have seen very little of this material on the market lately, and the area which produced these specimens was completely mined out, so don't miss out on this little beauty.
