Here we have a fantastic display specimen featuring a 7.5 cm, sharp, lustrous, prismatic, doubly-terminated intense blue Azurite crystal aesthetically perched on matrix. The Azurite is cleanly repaired, and fine quality all around. There is a bit of embedded host rock on the lower front edge of the crystals, and a point of contact on the back (where it is repaired), but it's still a showy and beautiful example of these world-class Azurites. Even with the repair, I still put this piece in the $4,000-$5,000 price range retail as you rarely seen 3-inch Azurite crystals of this quality on matrix from any world locality.
