Item Description
Tsumeb is considered the great mine of all time, and Azurites have certainly been one of it's greatest species. Having great luster and fine color, this toenail stands out because is it doubly-terminated! This is a habit very unusual in my experience, certainly when this distinct. There is some micro-chatter along the edges, which is typical for Azurite, being relatively soft and brittle. However, the overall aesthetics are terrific, and I will let the pics tell the story here. Superb, up on its lucite pedestal perch.
