Chalcostibite is an uncommon sulfosalt and this sculptural, rich and excellent miniature features lustrous, metallic-bright, striated chalcostibite (visible on one bruised end and part of one side) that has pseudomorphed intergrown, sharp azurite crystals. A new coating of bright azure-blue azurite covers the chalcostibite. The uncommon locality is Rar-el-Anz, Morocco. Seldom available on the market from this locality in this quality. Valued at $300-350.
