Item Description
Intergrown clusters of beautiful and bright, royal-blue Azurite crystals with hints of electric-blue color are densely intergrown into a sculptural, flattened rosette on this very showy small cabinet specimen from the 1980's finds at the La Sal claim. The drop of green Malachite adds color. This is a typical and excellent example from the locale. Choice material, with great aesthetics in 360 degrees! This is NOT the average quality stuff you sometimes see for sale today. From the extensive collection of Bob Reynolds, who cherished both minerals and fossils as he collected. Bob is a prolific author and has had several curating positions in museums.
