Item Description

Azurites from Bisbee are among the most iconic specimens from the American southwest. A classic specimen of old Bisbee material featuring well-formed, spherical "rosettes" of beautiful blue Azurite which are sitting on oxidized matrix. The largest "rose" on the piece measures 1.1 cm across. Good quality, with only one notable contact, and very attractive for this historic material from Bisbee. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#4709).
