Item Description
Here we have a good overall specimen of these classic Azurites from Ajo featuring sharp, rather lustrous deep blue colored crystals measuring up to 1.1 mm associated with minor chatoyant green Malachite, and no real matrix to speak of. There are some dings on some of the Azurites, so the piece is not 100% pristine, but it's fairly rare to see pieces from Ajo on the market these days. Some of the Azurites show decent gemminess on the edges when backlit.
