Item Description
A showy small cabinet display specimen of these classic Azurites from Ajo featuring sharp and lustrous crystals measuring up to 1.1 cm associated with minor mint green Malachite on matrix. The Azurites have formed "rose"-esque groups, and are in good condition, though you can see micro chipping in areas upon close inspection. It's rare to see any pieces from Ajo on the market these days, and it's important to note that good matrix display specimens of Azurite from the New Cornelia Mine are sought after by Arizona collectors.
