Item Description
The famous copper producing locality at Concepción del Oro is famous for some impressive sulfides, excellent Scorodites and even some attractive specimens of Azurite. This miniature size specimen features a "rosette"-esque group comprising thick, "sword"-shaped crystals dark blue Azurite with no matrix. The piece is mostly complete all around with no major damage, but there is a bit of roughness along a few edges. Overall it's a very eye-catching example of this seldom seen material. The piece comes with an old label from Fender Minerals priced years ago at $30! A must have for any fan of Mexican minerals, secondary ore minerals or worldwide Azurites.
