Item Description
An elegant corsage of unusually rounded azurite blades is aesthetically set on matrix from the famous mines at Bisbee. The highly lustrous midnight-blue blades have beautiful areas of electric-blue color. The azurites are essentially pristine. Part of the edge of the large crystal is contacted, but there is no damage, per se. A very fine example of an uncommon style of azurite from Bisbee. Ex George White and Bruce Murphy Collections. Probably collected in the late 1940s or 1950, according to a note on a label.
