Item Description
Lustrous, sharp, navy-blue azurite crystals to about 6 mm are attractively scattered in the sculptural vuggy crust with blue-green banded chrysocolla and botyroids. The azurites feature electric-blue color saturation under bright light. The form and color of the azurite, chrysocolla and gossan matrix have dramatic flair on this cutie. Azurite specimens are uncommon from this more obscure Arizona locale. Ex Harold Urish Collection and obtained from Barry Mercer in 1997. Valued at $100.
