Item Description
Azurite and cerussite specimens are some of the most highly desirable and RARE combinations from famed Tsumeb and this is a very sculptural small cabinet. Sharp, highly lustrous, striated, midnight-blue azurites with "electric-blue" highlights are very aesthetically clustered atop the columnar matrix. The striking dominating crystal is 3.1 cm long and is doubly terminated. A secondary crystal at 1.7 cm is also doubly terminated. Most of the matrix is composed of very glassy, well-striated, cyclic-twinned cerussite crystals. The bit of scattered green duftite is a nice contrast and accent. A classic, very showy 270-degree azurite and cerussite from Tsumeb. SELDOM on the market in this combination quality! Valued at $750-900.
