Item Description
Dramatically sculptural connected vugs are filled with spherical aggregates of tiny lustrous navy-blue bladed azurite crystals on this impresssive and aesthetic small cabinet from the famous Morenci Mine. The banded azurite lining the vugs and the contrasting light brown matrix are a fine contrast and complement. This very showy piece is from the mid-1990s finds in the NW Extension of the mine. Ex Bob Reynolds Collection, a well-known fossil and mineral expert and Curator of the San Bernardino County Museum.
