Item Description

The famous 1994 discovery known as the 'Easter Pocket' from the 8 Level, was the last major azurite find at Tsumeb. This nifty, two-sided, sharply terminated, parallel-growth cluster of blades has high luster and dark navy-blue color. The matrix is accented with green bayldonite. "Electric-blue" color is scattered in the blades under bright light. Complete on both sides, one modest spot of bruising is noted near the termination. This is a showy and highly representative example from a highly sought-after find. None are available on the market, and generally they are priced at a premium, even for representative pieces.
