Item Description

Sharp, lustrous, midnight-blue, wedge-like, azurite crystals, to 2.0 cm, have flashes of electric-blue gemminess and are richly embedded on all sides of the starkly contrasting, vuggy, apple-green matrix of powdery bayldonite. This is fine old-time combination material from the Upper Oxidized Zone of this renowned locale. The scattered periphery wear has negligible impact to the importance of this excellent specimen from the Art Soregaroli Collection.
