Item Description
This is a superb, killer cluster of Chinese azurite balls. It is certainly the best we have offered at auction from any locality. The color, symmetry, and luster are all superb. The very large blocky crystals, in striking parallel-growth groups, have fabulous electric-blue highlights under any light! Very nearly a floater, the small contact is at the two pieces of malachite. This compares or supasses the best of Bisbee, La Sal or Chessy. These super pieces came out in the 1980s and 90s. It would easily be way over $10000, if from Bisbee. Value today??
