A very fine azurite "ball" or rosette from this well-known extinct Chinese locale. The lustrous, tightly intergrown blocky crystals have rich royal-blue color and compare very favorably with classics from Bisbee or Chessy. The crystallized vugs add character. Complete all-around and pristine. The small attachment is at the base. These are world-class azurite rosettes and this is outstanding example. Valued by the former dealer at $600.
