Item Description

A classic and showy combination from a classic American locality - Bisbee. A 3.0 cm, well-placed vug is lined with sparkly bladed botryoids of dark blue azurite in sculptural, sturdy crust of malachite and a bit of gossan. The famous Lavender Pit produced ore from 1954-1970. Excellent combination material from the Harold Urish Collection # 389 and undoubtly obtained during active mining.
