Item Description
Attractive association piece from the Apex Claim in the New York Mountains of California, selfcollected by the former owner. The swirling patterns of intermixed Azurite, Malachite, and the minerals within the matrix are appealing and complementary, and look like they could have been created by a master potter. This is an aesthetic, representative piece for the locality. From the extensive collection of Bob Reynolds, who cherished both minerals and fossils as he collected. Bob is a prolific author and has had several curating positions in museums.
