Item Description

A old-time piece with high luster, blue azurite crystals growing in a malachite pocket from Arizona! The azurites have the classic "Bisbee rose" shape and are all pristine. From personal communication with Evan Jones, he said "this is from the Czar Mine...very old piece! According to Dick Graeme this type occurred in masses of clay, hence the smooth outside texture. Dates pre-1900!" This is just barely too large to be considered a thumbnail but is a perfect size for the new Crystal Showcase™️ box (https://www.irocks.com/minerals/specimen/50149) for optimal display and safety. Ex. Alex Venzke.
