Item Description
This intense deep blue azurite cluster features the most intense color possible for an old Bisbee azurite, with crystals to 1 inch (2.5 cm). It also shows some minor replacement by malachite around the edges. Bill said he got this from an old museum collection out of Harvard University, long ago. It would have been found around the turn of the 1900s at this famous old mine. While not perfect, as there is some minor surface rubbing behind the main crystal and on periphery, it displays well and the main, sharp crystal has amazing color and luster. From the collection of Bill Panczner.
