Item Description

Densely intergrown, parallel-growth to isolated azurite crystals are mostly pseudomorphed to malachite on this showy and excellent old-timer from the famous mines at Bisbee. The undulating vug in gossan matrix lined with chatoyant, banded malachite and there is more unusual malachite and azurite on the back. The mirror-bright, isolated, partial pseudo crystal is 7 mm. Classic material from the Dennis Mullane Bisbee Collection and priced by him at $100 in the 1960s or early 70s, according to his label!
