Bisbee azurite and malachite specimens are a U.S. classic. This is a strikingly different and excellent, two-sided, CABINET specimen from the Dennis Mullane Collection. The front features numerous, lustrous, rosettes of navy-blue, azurite blades on iron oxide-coated, bubbly, botryoidal malachite. The fresh surfaces of banded, botryoidal, bubby malachite of the back and side host numerous vugs lined with more isolated, azurite rosettes with highly desirable "electric-blue" gemminess under bright light. Certainly a dramatic and distinct difference from front to back! Choice old-time material from this historic district.
