Lustrous, sharp, midnight-blue, azurite crystals to 1.1 cm and malachite pseudomorphs after azurite crystals richly cover the undulating matrix on this showy and excellent old-timer from Chessy, the Type Locality for azurite. Highlights of desirable "electric-blue" are much in evidence. The bit of periphery wear is noted, but has very modest impact on the fine quality of the pristine primary crystals.
