Azurite and Malachite

Item Description

An impressive, large, colorful and sculptural azurite and malachite combination specimen from recent finds at this well-known Cu-Fe mine. The curved vug in hefty ironstone matrix is lined with beautiful, two-toned, royal-blue azurite botryoids and very bubbly green malachite botryoids. A portion of the malachite botryoids were contacted against the opposite vug wall, but this remains a striking, colorful and highly representative large example of the combination species and locale.
