Azurite and Malachite

Highly lustrous navy-blue azurite crystals with striking "electric-blue" color under bright light are aesthetically clustered on the starkly contrasting porphyry matrix plate covered with acicular malachite crystals. The upper face of 1.9 cm lozenge-shaped azurite is contacted from the vug ceiling, but there is no damage, per se. These colorful combinations are among the most desirable specimens from this contemporary classic locale. A choice and excellent combination example of the species.
