Azurite and Malachite

This is a very attractive small cabinet display specimen of Azurite on Malachite from the prolific Liufengshan mine. It features dozens of sharp, VERY lustrous, midnight blue Azurite crystals which are associated light and dark green color, velvety Malachite on matrix. The luster and color of the Azurite is certainly impressive, and almost impossible to reproduce in the photos. I even tried photograph the Azurites under the microscope, but they still don't look as good as they do in person. Great quality for the species, despite the crystals being somewhat small. A worthwhile Chinese Azurite and Malachite from this contemporary classic locality. These specimens are commanding high prices, even from the Chinese dealers.
