Azurite and Malachite

Item Description

A large, sculptural and colorful, fish-shaped specimen of azurite and malachite from recent Chinese finds. The sparkly, spherical aggregates of blocky, navy-blue azurite crystals have highly desirable "electric-blue" gemmy highlights under strong light. The association with the velvet malachite is an excellent compliment. The bit of bruising reveals the nifty chatoyancy of the banded, radial malachite botryoids.
