Azurite and Malachite

Striking and beautiful, royal-blue azurite botryoids richly cover the sculptural plate accented with malachite on this very showy and excellent specimen from the famous Morenci Mine. The variably-sized azurite botryoids really add character. The botryoids are peppered with tiny, lustrous, gray "pearls" of goethite, which is an uncommon occurrence at Morenci.
