Item Description

This is a very attractive small cabinet display specimen of Azurite on Malachite from the prolific Liufengshan mine. It features hundreds of sharp, lustrous, midnight blue Azurite blades which have formed in "rosette"-like aggregates are are scattered atop light and dark mint green color, velvety botryoidal Malachite. The color contrast is just beautiful and truly resembles classic material from Bisbee, Arizona. For a specimen of this size, it is very showy and is one of the better pieces in this size range that I have offered in the auctions in a while. These specimens are commanding high prices, even from the Chinese dealers.
