Item Description
This is a very dramatic large cabinet display specimen of Azurite on Malachite from the prolific Liufengshan mine. It features dozens of sharp, lustrous, midnight blue Azurite blades which have formed in pseudo "rosette"-shaped aggregates are are scattered atop deep forest green (mint green underneath), velvety botryoidal Malachite on minor gossan matrix. The color contrast is just beautiful and truly resembles classic material from Bisbee. The specimen displays beautifully, and really draws one's attention. For a specimen of this size, it is very showy and is one of the best "big" pieces of this material that I have handled. These specimens are commanding high prices, even from the Chinese dealers. Valued at $2000-$2500.
