A beautifully adorable and exceptional miniature specimen of azurite altering to malachite from the famed Morenci Mine. Depending on the light incidence and brightness the dramatic "petals" and "stem" of the lustrous azurite plates range from "electric-blue" to royal-blue to navy-blue. This stunning rarity is from the 1980s finds. See the 2020 Mineralogical Record article in the Arizona-VII Special Issue, Vol. 51, No. 1.
