Item Description
An attractive specimen of Azurite from the famous Milpillas Mine. This piece features good quality, sharp, rather lustrous, deep blue, bladed crystals of Azurite measuring up to 1.3 on matrix. There are some rough spots, so the piece is not damage free, but several crystals are in fine condition. With some strong backlighting, the edges of the Azurites show a bit of bit of gemminess with a brilliant indigo color. Milpillas is finished in terms of the oxidized zone, so there will be no more Azurite specimens according to our sources.
