Item Description
An attractive display specimen of Azurite from the famous contemporary locality at the Milpillas Mine. This piece features very good quality, sharp, rather lustrous, deep blue crystals with very minor associated Malachite and matrix. There are several bruises on the piece, hence the auction listing, but it doesn't take away from the fact that it's still a pretty good specimen of this famous material. This material will only increase in value as the years go by, especially now that we're told the locality is done for all intents and purposes.
