Item Description

Azurite is one of Tsumeb's signature species, and good specimens have always been, and always will be, high on most collector's lists. The Azurites here are deep blue with flashes of electric blue near the edges, and the luster ranges from striated and good to mirror-like. There are several parallel, prismatic crystals within this cluster, and they are all terminated and of similar habit. Being soft, there is a small amount of edgewear, but the overall aesthetics are very good on this robust specimen. This is a fine, highly representative Azurite from the greatest of all mines.
