Lost Lake Azurites are certainly some of the most unusual Azurites from any locality, and there is no denying how attractive the very best pieces are. The precipitation of the copper carbonate Azurite onto the sandstone matrix created these round concretions which range up to 1.2 cm across. Their uniform size, incredible density across the piece, and lovely color make for cabinet-sized specimen that is aesthetic and almost singular. Briefly common when a big find came out nearly a decade ago, rarely available in this size and quality today.
