Item Description

Sharp, highly lustrous lozenge-shaped azure-blue to royal-blue azurite crystals, to 1.6 cm (doubly terminated), are dramatically perched on the crest and one side of the sculptural small cabinet porphyry matrix on this very aesthetic and striking specimen from recent finds at this now famous mine. Milpillas azurites are now generally considered to be the world's finest examples of the sought-after species and this is a fine and showy example of this varietal. The crystals GLOW with electric-blue color, when back lit! Get a good while you can.
