Azurite

A nice, very large, rosette of Azurite composed of lustrous, dark blue, bladed crystals to 2cm. Some small flecks of red clay from the pocket zone present between azurite crystals on the backside. Attractive piece from finds in Africa over a decade ago. In great condition with sparse bruising and micro-chipping. The rusty red matrix bits are unusual, otherwise you'd think it was Tsumeb or Chinese!
