Azurite from Tsumeb is one of the most classic, and highly sought after species of the hundreds found at this famous locality. This piece features a fine, sharp and rather lustrous, deep midnight blue crystal of Azurite with an attractive "sword"-shaped form. Minor Malachite can be seen on the front side. A good overall miniature specimen, and good quality for the material, despite a bit of roughness on the side and back. Tsumeb specimens are rising in value by the minute it seems.
