Azurite

Item Description

From the early days of Chinese mineral exports in the early-90s and even a bit into the late 80s, this is a "blue rose" azurite cluster. It is totally complete all around, sharp, and has an intense blue color. The combination of color saturation and luster, with more robust individual crystallization visible within the overall radial growth, marks these older specimens as superior to my eye, compared to those from a more recent find which popped out to market in the late 90s and, in a small batch, again around 2007.
