Highly lustrous midnight-blue azurite prisms, to 1.4 cm, have striking electric-blue color under bright light. The richly scattered crystals are dramatically accented by the oxide coating on the porphyry matrix. Very showy, rich and excellent azurite of this varietal with contrasting oxides from the famous recent finds at this now famous locale. Nearly pristine, with only trivial bruising. These are considered to be some of the finest azurites in the world. Get a good one, while you can.
