Item Description
Engaging and classic, this elegant and geometric miniature has all the hallmarks of a great Moroccan Azurite. The thin-bladed crystals, up to 2 cm, have superb luster, great form, and color, and they are displayed well across the piece. And of course, exactly like you would hope for, their light transmission is the best. A very fine, choice miniature from a classic location. Note the transparency when backlit, a feature of fine Moroccan azurites from the old finds.
