Remarkable, single, thin, and tabular bladed crystal of Azurite from the famous Azurite locality in Morocco. Very much like a blade indeed, it has the superb luster and rich blue color you have come to expect in the top Moroccan Azurites. One face is extremely complex, and really gives the impression of looking at the face of a glacier, albeit a deep-blue and lustrous one. Almost pristine all around, this is stunning in the hand or a showcase, for its unusual style and strong color. OLD, from the 1960s or perhaps early 1970s. A fine-quality, small-cabinet specimen, it is all the more so being such a large crystal for Morocco.
