Item Description
From Kerrouchene, Morocco, this is a very showy and interesting specimen of these well-known Azurites. The crystals are highly lustrous, with the desirable two-toned coloration that you look for in Moroccan Azurites. The interesting terminations vary from smooth and well-formed to ratchety and sharp. Sizes range from 3.5 to 4.5 cm, with the large, flattened tabular crystal rising among the sharper crystals, almost like an outlier in an alpine vista. Striking, really. A very unusual and attractive piece from Kerrouchene. 1980s vintage.
