Item Description
Sculptural vug lined with tiny deep blue Azurite crystals from the Holbrook Mine at Bisbee. There is some minor associated fibrous green Malachite with the side view showing a botryoidal Malachite layer underneath the Azurite. While the Azurites appear to be a dark cobalt blue color, upon closer inspection with a loupe and some light, they are actually sharp, well formed, translucent, gemmy electric blue crystals. The piece is in great condition with only minor periphery edge wear. The tunnel through the vug is as cool additive feature. A classic Bisbee Azurite with some three dimensionality.
