Item Description
Interesting specimen of the unique azurite "suns" on contrasting bone-white Kaolin matrix from Northern Territory of Australia. A combination of a cloud of suns raining down isolated suns. The final stage of the typical deep blue azurite crystallization is only partially complete showing a lighter royal blue lagoon of Azurite underneath. Making for an attractive bi-colored and unusual specimen for the locale. The large cluster is 5.5 cm across. Not another azurite locality in the world produces them quite like this.
