Item Description

A group of fine, sharp, lustrous, well-formed, somewhat "rosette"-esque crystals of purplish Axinite-(Fe) are included with moss green "Chlorite", creating a beautiful two-tone effect. From a "kleft" deposit in the Himalayas of Pakistan, very similar to "Alpine type" Axinites from Russia, or true Alpine Axinites from Europe. The largest crystal group of Axinite on the specimen measures 2.7 cm. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock.
