Axinite-(Mn) (classic material) (Ex Rich Kosnar Collection)

Item Description

A good association specimen of yellow Axinite-(Mn) (formerly Manganaxinite) and pink Rhodonite from the famous Franklin Mining District. The piece comes from the Rich Kosnar Collection, and comes with a label from Frank Edwards and Walter Kuenstler. We have photographed the piece with a Canon MP-E 65mm lens to better illustrate its quality. There MIGHT be some crystals of Marsturite on here, but I can't say for sure, I didn't see anything under the scope. For micro collectors, or those who love minerals from Franklin, this is a great opportunity to acquire a cool little specimen with good pedigree for your collection.
