A wonderful razor-sharp, bladed axinite crystal with superb clove-brown color, excellent clarity, and glassy luster. The crystal GLOWS with lavender highlights, when backlit! Complete all-around, nearly pristine, with only a bit of termination and side wear. From the late 1980s to mid 1990s finds. These Puiva axinites set the world-wide standard for the species and are seldom available in this quality today. Excellent axinite from locale and the Art Soregaroli Collection.
