Item Description
A wonderful razor-sharp, bladed axinite crystal with superb clove-brown color, excellent clarity, and glassy luster. The crystal GLOWS with lavender highlights, when backlit! The unknown tiny spherules are a nifty accent. Complete all-around. Pristine, except for the attachment at the base. The nifty top edge notch is a contact, with no damage, per se. The back side has a large contact, where another crystal once lay, but no damage, per se. From the late 1980s to mid 1990s finds. These Puiva axinites set the world-wide standard for the species and are seldom available in this quality today. Choice and excellent axinite from locale and the Bob Trimingham Collection.
